  A Google User: Good apk I am still having issues with the video recording on sgs2 (image works ok) despite the recent modernize, changing 3 roms so far just to receive this apk to work (on cyogenmod now) and changing the res\encoder multiple times. Good apk, the idea is brilliant, the apk is gratis definetly the best vehicle recording apk. Hold up the awesome work dev!

  RJFerret: Best of the three top rated I tried. It functions without crashing, records in background with map running over top, produces playable videos and has exceptional player control. I have it auto run from an nfc mark in the background, it can auto record too. It'll automatically stop when removed from vehicle dock. Floating screen buttons can be configured, I can't think of a method I'd improve it. Awesome items all around. PS: Most responsive dev too, here, and answering a query on Google+.

  Jim Redmond: Works in background on Droid Razr Maxx HD I've see a few comments in the reviews saying this apk doesn't work in the background on a Droid Razr Maxx. It didn't work on mine at first either. I went into settings/background mode/background operation and checked the box "videos/photos are captured until the application is closed" and it works as I would hope. The apk no longer stops recording if the smartphone rings or I keep a text notice. I can run a navigation apk like Waze over DailyRoads Voyager and the video continues recording uninterrupted.

  Chon-bae Sun: Using DRV as a Bodycam After being a sole witness to a Hit&Run( just as eyewitness) I believed it's high time for a body cam when on foot. Was told of DRV. Using it on my old phone Samsung L300(yr:2012, OS:4.1.2 jellybean). This will be used in the interim till I can receive a proper bodycam. Works ok.

  A Google User: Good apk. I really wanted to like this apk. I tried 2 or 3 another dash cam apks and this one has all the features I wanted. Unfortunately, it only works for a few mins on my GSII and then crashes my smartphone so awful I have to pull the battery. UPDATE: After e-mailing the developer, they replied with the recommendation that I turn down the video settings. Bingo! Works as advertised.
