Advice for new users:

If you're a mive collector and you want to 100% the game, you have to pay (20$/per month) for a few exclusive Komo and some are event restricted. If that doesn't bother you then be ready to spend hours recollecting the same common Komo to get it's shiny variant.

A: No, but it slightly changes the coloring of the komo and the border looks “shinier” when you activate shiny. Some have more noticeable shiny while others look mostly the same.

A: Get most gems by buying the cake on the jelly bean island. It costs 15 gems but you get around 60 gems as reward when it catches a como. Upgrade traps as high as possible and the beds will make it take about 30-60 seconds for a komo to be trapped. If you skip the time with 10 gems it speeds up the process (and even though you spend gems to speed it up, the decreased wait time makes up for it and you make more in the end.)
