However, after installing on one device (Nexus 7), when I test to install on a second device (Windows PC) I keep the error notice: No eligible devices for apk install. £11.49 for one device is too high a price IMHO. -P-

The ability to shop ebooks on the SD card of my smartphone. Some of the ebooks are very large files, and the ability to gratis up internal place by putting them on the SD card would be good!

  Greg Brougham: Was disappointed to search that the ebooks are essentially pdf versions with some extra multi-media content. As with most pdf readers it doesn't flow text within the screen constraints. This means that to read a page on a mini smartphone I search I have to place the device in landscape, resize the text to the size of the screen to create it readable and then scroll down as I read and this needs to be done for each page. They have also priced the books at the same price as the printed versions, presumably justified by the additional multi-media content, but I think they would be better of offering a ver that reflects the lower cost of the medium, or at least offering a gratis copy with each paper copy of the ebook. Essentially once you have a draft proofed copy of a manuscript the cost of e-publication is minimal.

  Alistair Cameron: Apk is large and interface clumsy. Ebooks are beautiful useless when downloaded as they insist on presenting as complete pages, making text too little and reading columns a messy, slow and inaccurate business. Developers must realise that books are not the same as paper ebooks and traditional layout guidelines do not apply. Test, test once more.

I was particularly frustrated by the sign in process which, whilst generally dreadful, more specifically won't let my password manager to input a password.

  Mike Allen: Ill happily buy RYA books,excellent quality....but why pay such a cost for any downloads in this format?Free sample I downloaded was 1 page!!!! hardly the best method to advertise this product. Also having initially downloaded a sample no prompts/instruction on how to then read it! Ill stick to KINDLE for my ebooks unless this apks prices reduce and player front end improves.

  David Hallsworth: Phase 2 i decided to edit this entry and remove some stars. Sadly there is no method to give this apk 0 stars, which is what it deserves. My smartphone required to be changed and the fresh one wouldn't let me​ to login or access the appropriate file. A few emails to the RYA produced no suitable effect. So i asked for a refund for the ebook i bought but cannot read. Do not waste your time. It's a hiding to nothing. I was worried by the another comments. However I really wanted one of your ebooks, on a "right now" basis. I got the ebook and read it, so that's OK. Can't register or login through the apk though. I can probably complete a purchase through Google Play. It seems that your development squad have gone to a lot of problem to be very average.

  Adam Fermor: I didn't realize how awful an apk should be. Until I had to use this apk to retrieve course ebooks. This apk is truly the slowest thing in the universe, not only does it not wish to use the internet connection that my smartphone has. It takes years for anything to happen, essentially this apk is a pdf reader so I honestly can't think of how they managed to create every action you create take an age to complete

  Ian Boston: If I should give this 0 stars, I would. Today its insisting on downloading every publication the RYA has while I test to cancel each download in turn to prevent it consuming all accessible storage place. Current total is 2GB, hopefully I will beat it. The UI follows no recognisable UI standards, is hard to use, totally confusing. Please RYA, stop wasting members cash by writing this apk and leave it to someone who knows what they are doing. Place your ebooks into Google Ebooks or iBooks and save everyone a nightmare.......... I gave up trying to stop it downloading everything and uninstalled it which deleted all the data. Very satisfied now, even though I had bought a few ebook which I will be unhappy to no longer have access to. Little price to pay versus the terrible apk experience.

  A Google user: Even with such a low score I decided to give it a test. It installed quickly and once I loaded and opened the Sailing section, the spinner froze while the apk said there was no content for that section. Meanwhile the smartphone had lots of tasks downloading items. I uninstalled it immediately. RYA is good but this apk doesn't represent the quality of their content and services.
