Do you love watching pawn, pickers, or antique valuation shows on TV? Do you have stuff around your house that you inherited or that you’ve purchased at estate sales or auctions that wanted to know the value of? Then download Value It today. My wife and I love going to estate sales and antique auctions. We often buy something that we really don’t know much about and that the internet isn’t able to provide much guidance on. I have frequently wished I should take the item onto one of those antique valuations shows and ask the experts about the history, and most importantly, how much it is worth. Since it’s not likely I’ll ever create it on TV, I decided to make an apk to do it! Value It allows players to upload images and descriptions of valuable stuff around their home. Once listed on Value It, another community members will ask questions and search out more about each item. When each community member is ready, they will post their valuation. The apk will then combine all of the estimates to give an overall estimate of the value for each posted item. Economists have long known that crowdsourced estimates are often more accurate than expert analysis. Value It relies on this theory and hopes to provide you the most accurate estimations possible, all while having fun and learning something. To create Value It a success we ask that you contribute both methods! If you know something about an item other member has posted, then please share.
