  A Google user: Overall, a brilliant apk. Well worth the cash. Worked a charm with VLC 1.1.11. Didn't work with version 2. It is a pain having to navigate to your films folder every time. Remember latest directory would be awesome in future updates. Works good on my HTC wildfire. Simple to set up, decent buffering time. The unlocker is showing as incompatible with my smartphone, but the gratis trial worked ok.

  A Google user: This is hands down the best VLC streaming apk out there for Android device. I haven't used the Remote functionality, my basic use for this apk is to monitor a few webcam streams I have set up on my home network. The feeds stream flawlessly over 3G after taking a few mins to properly configure my router at home (ie: forward ports 8080 and 5554) and setup the Web Interface for VLC; I'm not using VLC v2.0 so I can't comment on its compatibility but I've finally found something I can rely on. For $3!!!

  Ahmed Mirza: If you wish this remote to work you need VLC 2.0.0 anything higher won't work due to simplified web interface on later ver. I bought this apk to help the devs and I hope they can some how fix this apk to work with the recent VLC.
